BENEFITS
Dandruff is a scalp condition characterised by itchy, flaky skin with no obvious infection. Your skin and scalp shed dead cells, which usually are so fine that they are not noticed. But when these cells start clumping together, they form dandruff flakes. These are visible on the scalp, hair and at times of the shoulder, leading to redness, itching and social embarrassment.
In Ayurveda, dandruff is linked to Darunaka. The word 'daruna' denotes hardness. The skin on the scalp gets cracked, becomes rough, dry and itchy, due to an increase in kapha vata. 'Arunshika' is a small ulcer with many openings manifested on the skin of the scalp due to kapha rakta.
Acharya Charak in his book Charak Samhita has explained two basic objectives of Ayurveda, which is summed up in the shlok "Swasthasya swasthya rakshanam;Aturasya vikar prashamanamcha" – To prolong life and promote perfect health of healthy person and to eradicate the disease and dysfunction of unwell person. Thus, Ayurveda pays a lot of emphasis on "dincharya" or routine. A good hair care regime, based on the principles of ayurveda, is necessary for reducing hair fall and promoting new hair growth.
The Neem Ayu Anti Hair Fall Shampoo is developed to become part of the regular 'dincharya' or routine of men and women. It is free from sulphate and free from paraben. It is a conditioning shampoo, made using herbal or natural ingredients.
